I have to admit at times it is difficult living with a meat eater and at times I pray that he would come over to the other side. But I try to compromise with him and we do share one meatless meal each week. So you may ask do you cook for him? At first I wanted to stand my ground and not cook meat. I figured if he wanted to eat it he would have to make it. But love is about give and take. I love him and he works so hard to support me and out children how could I deprive him of a home cook meal after a long hard day of work? So far now I encourage, ok some times demand him to conform! I do try to make him a well balance meal and i thought I would you give you idea what I make him.
This is one he enjoys!
Breaded chicken breast. The secret ingredient in the breading is grated Parmesan cheese. By what my husband say they are quite delicious.
Now that I had his protein taken care of we needed a healthy whole grain. Uncle Ben’s wild rice. And of course dinner would not be complete with out this food group
Vegetables! He loves roasted broccoli and in my book that is a step in the right direction.
Although we don’t see eye to eye on our food choices it doesn’t mean we don’t respect each others choices!

The best thing to do is not see his choice as wrong, or problematic, because unless he was eating Big Mac’s and Haagen Daas, then having chicken and meat is not a big issue, but the main thing is you are doing what is best for both of you and that’s obviously one of the key reasons you’ve had so long together.
Keep believing in what you’re doing for yourself and GOOD LUCK.
